Douglas Hiscox,

Ed.D.

Dr. Douglas T. Hiscox is co- founder of the Carefree Education Service Group, LLC, which focuses on supporting families and school districts by providing opportunities for young scholars to develop their talents. Dr. Hiscox has experience in curriculum and instruction, school district operations, educational leadership, and grant management. Dr. Hiscox is an experienced educator with more than 40 years of service to school districts, communities, and families.

Kim A. Davis, M.S.

Mrs. Kimberly A Davis is co- founder of the Carefree Education Service Group, LLC. CESG provides family and student centered support for continued learning, expanded opportunities, and cognitive growth for young scholars. Mrs. Davis has extensive training and experience with developing and implementing effective curricular resources and instructional practices. With more than 30 years of educational service, Mrs. Davis has been a classroom teacher, literacy coach, gifted coordinator, instructional supervisor and director of curriculum.

Benjamin Shaw

Mr.Benjamin Shaw is an Instructional Trainer in elementary mathematics. Prior to joining the Carefree Education Service Group, Benjamin spent fourteen years in the classroom as a mathematics teacher, and six years as a mathematics consultant working with individual, small and large groups of teachers and administrators. Benjamin has sat on several writing teams at the state level which have led to valuable insight into the mathematical development of students.

Wendy Lyden

Ms. Wendy Lyden is an Instructional Trainer in elementary English language arts. Prior to joining the Carefree Education Service Group, Wendy spent 28 years as a classroom teacher and literacy coach and five years as ELA consultant where she worked with individual, small and large groups of teachers and administrators. Wendy is also a state trainer for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports.

Michelle D. Thomas,

Dr. Michelle D. Thomas is President of the James Franklin Group, LLC, which focuses oneducation and leadership. Dr. Thomas has experience in program design, facilitation, curriculumand instruction, and educational leadership. She is the founder of a Young Women’s Leadership Academy (YWLA) designed for girls in Grades 5- 16+ who have demonstrated academic talent and leadership potential. Dr. Thomas has been in education for nearly 30 years and has focused on curriculum and instruction for over 20 years.

Jayson Yeagley

Mr. Jayson Yeagley is a Lead Consultant at Carefree Education Service Group. Mr. Yeagley is currently a Middle School Principal and has spent 10 years as an administrator and school technology consultant. Mr. Yeagley specializes in technology integration best practices and eLearning system building. Prior to administration, Mr. Yeagley taught High School English, Media, and Film Study.
